Hi @rory, I'm packaging robot-detection for Arch Linux.
We usually use pypi as upstream for checking for updates and building a package from a source tarball (the sdist).
Most Linux distributions require the LICENSE file to be available with the source code they build.
More importantly, it's of course always great to be able to run unit tests against a build to ensure the compatibility with the system version of python.
Therefore I can only 2nd @pgajdos : It would be awesome, if you could add the files to the sdist on pypi. Thank you!
