Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Are you bored of installing programs and extensions that you may only use once in your life?

Describe the solution you'd like
add dev containers since only one extension and using docker behind you could create extremely complex environments and put your editor inside, making the debuger and other functions useful

Additional context
Could be used with codespaces to program on the web

repositories that use dev containers: node, typescript etc

It isn't clear.
Are we talking about a dev container for Docker to develop Amber itself or just using it?

So it is just for who contribute to the Amber Lang.
Considering that is just required to have Rust and that the contributors are very few, adding something like that it means to add more stuff to support and that there is no need right now.
Nodejs or typescript require too many things compared to this project.

this is too low down on our priority list for now, however if enough people would comment on this issue it would be reopened for discussion

@b1ek b1ek closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale Jul 16, 2024
