Animated Stripes is an interactive Processing sketch that dynamically creates colorful stripe patterns from user-selected areas of a randomly loaded image. Users can draw selections, generating animated stripes that bring the static image to life. An original idea by Sanders Sturing, itself inspired by the work of the studio Schultzschultz.
