This repo contains the code sample for an article titled RESTful Consumption using the Java 11+ HTTP Client API and Gson from The Coding Interface

Running the Sample Project

The code is in the form of a Gradle project and written using Java 12 (Specifically OpenJDK 12).

clone repo

git clone https://github.com/amcquistan/java-http-client.git
cd java-http-client

run on Mac / Linux

./gradlew run

or Windows

gradlew.bat run
