Metrics: User Metrics

On GitLit, each contributor(users) is rated on the basis of the following type of activity they perform on GitHub, and are given a score for each type and then summed to give an overall score for the user.

  1. Creation - Creation and maintenance of own repositories/projects
  2. Contribution - Contributions to other's repositories through commits, pull-requests, issue reporting.
  3. Engagement - Activeness on GitHub through contributions, involvement in discussion etc.
  4. Socialisation - Connections made with others through followers, following, stars, forks etc.
