I can confirm that the extension work flawlessly with 3.18 release on Arch Linux, journald log is clear from errors.

The extension does not work for me. I get error about libhdate-glib.

I updated my system again today, both rebuilt ibhdate-glib and ibhdate again, and the extension still works without an issue.
