I have now fixed the client side JS crashing, and as a side effect, removed the menubar dependency and made the context menu on the menubar actually work. |

Apparently, you have to do
menubar.menubar(), notmenubar(). I also noticed that the buttons in the user interface do not work, and I determined that it's due to require not being defined whenconst shell = require('electron').shellis called in app/scripts/app.js.
