Several packages (rdlowrey/nbsock, amphp/dns, amphp/artax 2.x-dev, amphp/mysql to name a few) rely on 1.0.x-dev as a version dependency.

You can currently get around this by using a require inline alias, but maybe keeping 1.0.x-dev as a branch-alias in composer.json could keep those packages working until they've been updated?

All this will be resolved today or in the next few days when Amp v1.0.0 is finally released. All packages will be updated to use ^1 as version constraint then.

@sagara- as @kelunik said we're very close to an actual 1.0.0 which will resolve this issue. Thanks for taking the time to note the problem in your report. I'll ping you in this thread once v1.0.0 is tagged.

@sagara- amp/1.0.0 is now a thing. We're working to update all the amp repos over the next day or two to use the stable release. Please feel free to post issues if you run into problems.
