Telegram
Alert pop-up allows you to send each alert via a Telegram bot to some other Telegram users or channels. The first thing you must do is create a Telegram bot via BotFather:
- Search and find the verified "BotFather":
- Select it and start a conversation with it:
- Send "/newbot" command, then provide a name and username for your bot:
As you see in the screenshot, it gives you an authorization token which is hidden with a red color; now your bot is successfully created.
To use the bot on alert pop-up you first have to create a conversation with your bot or add it to a channel and send it a message. You will then be able to add the bot onto the alert pop-up.
- If you wish to receive the alerts in your own account or in any other specific account, start a conversation with the bot by searching its name and sending it a test message:
- If you want to send the alerts to a Telegram channel, you must add the bot as one of your channel administrators (you cannot add it as a normal member):
- Once you have added the bot to your channel administrators, send it a test message on channel (@your_bot_username Hi):
- Now you are ready to add the bot to the alert pop-up, either to it's conversation with your account or the channel:
If you wish to try sending the alerts to your own Telegram account, you must use your Telegram ID in the pop-up settings "Username/Channel Title" field.
