This repository contains materials, codes and documents in general employed to provide a Sentiment Analysis bases on reviews downloaded from GoodReads through web scraping. For this analysis were used reviews from 8 different novels:
- Sense and Sensibility, Jane Austen
- Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
- Persuasion, Jane Austen
- Mansfield Park, Jane Austen
- Northanger Abbey, Jane Austen
- Sanditon, Jane Austen
- Emma, Jane Austen
- Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Seth Grahame Smith.
I then proceeded with the set up of the Sentiment Analysis tools, starting with the creation of the Goodreads Corpora. The following steps were analyzing plots of, mainly, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame Smith, and then a more in depth analysis with Udpipe with the imply of the English dictionary file resource.
The project will be presented during the exam on June 8, 2022.
