Filter View

The filter lets you filter which routes you want to see on the map. This is what the Filter View looks like

Filter View

There are two categories of filter options which will be explained next. When you are satisfied with your filter selection, just click Done or swipe down the Filter View.

Workout Activity Types

Pick the workout activity types you want to see on the map. This list will only include workout activity types for which a workout is stored in you Health app. Workouts stored in Health must also include route information/ GPS data to be displayed.

Dates

The other big category you can filter on are dates. There is an option to optionally set a start and end date. Just enable the switch to enter a start/end date. If you do not enter a start date, all workouts in the past will match the filter. If you pick a start date, all workouts on or past this date will be matched.

If you do not enter an end date, all workouts up to the current day will match the filter. If you pick an end date, all workouts before or on this date will be matched.

There are also a couple of buttons for faster date range selection.

Region

The region filter allows you to set a region inn which a workout must start to be counted. It is strictly based on the start location of the workout.

The region filter can be helpful if you want to check all workouts over a longer time period in a certain region. This can be helpful to see for example all hiking trips over the years in the alps.
