Welcome to the ShockFitting wiki!
Shock Fitting
is a modular shock-fitting algorithm that can be coupled to arbitrary unstructured CFD codes. It is composed of several libraries dynamically linked. Their setting is handled by the user through a configuration file.
The code implements a Fortran software code of Paciorri and Bonfiglioli in an object-oriented environment.
The overall description of the unstructured shock-fitting algorithm can be found in the Documents section.
The guidelines to download and install the Shock Fitting
Solver are listed in the [Installation instructions] (https://github.com/andrealani/ShockFitting/wiki/Installation-instructions) section.
The basic instructions to define and run a testcase with Shock Fitting
are described in the [HOWTO] (https://github.com/andrealani/ShockFitting/wiki/HOWTO) section.
