Hi Andy,
I reverse engineered the qmk firmware for the rs40 keyboard and thought you also might be interested.
I tested it on my rs40 without RGB so unfortunately i do not have a working configuration for the backlight.
i added a vial folder with a readme.md on how to compile it.
