Express Checkout - Smart Buttons progress spinner..??

hmmm...just noticed something else while testing a live order on somebody's site.

From their cart page I clicked the PayPal button (smart button). The pop-up came up, I logged in, clicked continue and the pop-up went away. Then it left me back on the cart page without any sort of progress notice or anything. It sat there for about 10 seconds before it finally redirected me to the complete page

We need to somehow make sure the pop-up doesn't go away until it's ready to redirect, or add our own progress spinner of some sort for that..??

This test had a billing agreement involved, and it skipped the review page

so whatever it was doing with GECD and DECP was happening after the pop-up went away, but without any additional progress notice
