In #553 we made some adjustments that should have fixed this, but we have somebody on the current 1.3.1 that is still having problems making captures against an EC order.
I wanted to reach out to you to inform you of a potential bug with the PayPal Express Checkout integration. I had a merchant use the order-auth-capture payment action for their setup due to their business setup and an issue came up when they tried to create an authorization. In short, they received a 10002 security header error when creating an authorization using the order.
I figured out that it was using the API credentials on the Sandbox section of the EC module so I entered in the LIVE creds in the Sandbox section to test it out; it worked. Long story short, the Sandbox API credential section is being used in the LIVE environment whenever an authorization is being created from an order. Below is a screenshot of the error message (the second “Order Notes”) along with the successful message (first “Order Notes”) after I entered in my LIVE credentials on the SB section on the EC configuration page.
