This user installed 1.4.2 and says the EC buttons are showing up for him again, which is good, but reports a few other problems.

  1. No processing/confirmation email is now sent to the customer.

  1. The Name shows up as GUEST on the order, whereas before it showed the name of the recipient.

I remember we dealt with this specifically in the past to make sure the person's name showed up instead of "Guest". Must have missed it when we did the EC revamp..??

  1. Normal payment window still showing on checkout.

Thank you.

Just to confirm that the last update was tested prior to this latest, and was working before. (i’ve just re-tested the last update on a different site and all was working fine _ apart form the Express Checkout issue of course!)

I only have PP Express checked.

I also just reverted back to your previous update (from backup), and the order notification comes through fine, so something you just did …is causing this I think.

@kcppdevelopers Re-opening to provide feedback from user that originally reported this.

  1. RESOLVED: Confirmation Email now being sent.
  1. RESOLVED: ‘GUEST’ name on order now showing actual name.
  1. PROBLEM REMAINS: ‘Proceed To Checkout’ button STILL showing alongside EXPRESS CHECKOUT (with 'Allow customers to checkout without a PayPal account using their credit card' disabled - which I presume it should not..?). Screenshots attached below...

Looks like he's referring to an option that doesn't affect the button he's pointing out. I'll respond to the ticket and ask him if he has any other gateways enabled.

User says he has confirmed that EC is the ONLY gateway enabled on his site right now, but for some reason it's still showing both the regular Proceed to Checkout button and our PayPal EC button on the cart page instead of replacing the Proceed to Checkout button with our EC button like it used to.
