Regarding Braintree as the processor, is the order status supposed to update in WooCommerce if the payment was refunded through the Braintree admin panel? I only ask because the merchant was under the impression that it would since PayPal did this, but the order status isn’t updating to “refunded” in WooCommerce if the payment was refunded in Braintree.
I tested this myself and experienced the same thing the merchant did. Furthermore, processing a refund in WooCommerce updates the order status AND updates the payment in Braintree so this appears to be working fine in this scenario.
