Express Checkout - Still not working from a saved/pending invoice. #914

This user created an invoice and send me an email to pay the invoice. I click pay which loads a screen like this:

When we switch to PayPal Express the button changes to "Proceed to PayPal" as expected, but when we click on the button it seems that "nothing" happens...like it's simply not active. At this point, though, if we switch back to the Credit Card option (in this case, Braintree) we see the form validation has kicked in and it has the fields highlighted red as if they're required.

So it seems that even though we switch to PayPal the Braintree form validation is still kicking it so we can't submit the form for PayPal..??
