I'm unable to import the http module in the project created using angular-cli. import {Http} from 'angular2/http';
I'm seeing the below error in the console. GET http://localhost:4200/angular2/http 404 (Not Found)
I checked the angular2 node modules and http.d.ts is available node_modules/angular2/http.d.ts

Found the issue, I missed to add the http.dev.js in index.html
<script src="vendor/angular2/bundles/http.dev.js"></script>
It is working fine now.
