SUMMARY

Relates to ansible-collections/news-for-maintainers#24.

It's been detected that this repository contains ignore-2.14.txt file but not ignore-2.15.txt file.

Actions needed:

  • Copy tests/sanity/ignore-2.14.txt to tests/sanity/ignore-2.15.txt otherwise the CI will get failing.
  • If it's not done yet, add the stable-2.15 branch to your CI workflow files. If you use GitHub actions, see the content of .github/workflows or, if you use Azure Pipelines, community.postgresql/.azure-pipelines/azure-pipelines.yml. If not added, this will violate the Collection Requirements for collections included in the Ansible package.
  • Subscribe to and track the news-for-maintainers repository if you're not subscribed yet.
  • If it's not relevant for this repo, just close the issue.

To read more about the topic, see the Ignores guide.

To read more about the context, see the announcement.

Thank you!

@Andersson007 I don't think you'll get an answer on this. As a reminder: ansible-community/community-topics#136

FYI: I've just created a vote on removing this collection from Ansible 8.

I am happy to make changes, but I don’t have commit on the repo.

@stephenulmer hello, thank you for your interest and offering help!
Would you like to maintain the collection on a regular basis?

I'm asking as, yes, it's great to see CI green but the collection needs to be released when needed, PRs need to be reviewed and merged, etc.
If you're OK with doing maintainer stuff, we could give you commit.
Please read the maintainer guidelines to learn more and let us know after that if you're still interested.

For now, while you're reading, you can create a PR fixing the issue and ping me for merge.
What do you think?

This collection is currently unmaintained, so nobody will work on your issue. See ansible-community/community-topics#136 for more information.

If you're interested in mainting this collection yourself, please read the maintainer guidelines and let us know if you want to take over on Matrix: #community:ansible.com or on irc.libera.chat: #ansible-community.
