  • Agenda item: Follow-up discussion from new modules meeting on 2016-04-20 - specifically, what needs documenting, arguing out of philosophies, is this a potential core / extras defining line, etc.

Here is what I have for tomorrow:

  1. module_utils/openswitch.py PR
  2. *template.py search path PR

I've listed 2 above, just a placeholder of the *template.py re-arch, as @bcoca mentioned last time.

We got through module PRs that were brought up and had some time to discuss the Modules in Extras criteria. We realized we needed to drill down to some very basic questions in order to address this. Started a shared document to figure out the current state of affairs and our goals for modules in order to determine where Extras in particular needs to go: https://public.etherpad-mozilla.org/p/Ansible_Module_Criteria
