Passwords for the admin panel are stored as plain text

The way passwords are currently stored in the database is basically 101 of what must never be done in terms of security.
Even the most basic hash such as MD5 should be sufficient enough, not to mention having passwords hashed with salt-based algorithm.

Please consider this as high priority bug.
