While I take a look at this, can you replace the boilerplate PR description line?

I guess that's all there is to it.

I think the issue was introduce when #16648 is merged, which converted goPrepare from a eagerly executed task in configuration phase across the project to lazily executed task only when dependency is declared, thus the dependOn should be explicitly added to the dependent task.
