What changes were proposed in this pull request?
Spark History Server REST API is missing the /environment endpoint. This endpoint is otherwise available in Spark 2.x however it's missing from 1.6.x.
Since the environment endpoint provides programmatic access to critical launch parameters it would be great to have this back ported.
