Prerequisites

  • I am running the latest version. (up upgrade)
  • I searched to see if the issue already exists.
  • I inspected the verbose debug output with the -v, --verbose flag.
  • Are you an Up Pro subscriber?

Description

So far I have seen that up creates API Gateway as source for lambda. Is it possible to create other event sources, like dynamodb tables, s3, kinesis, etc? I haven't seen any mention of them in the documentation. Is this in the plan to be supported at some point?

Love Up?

Loving Up! Subscribed for Pro version.

It's not on the roadmap at the moment, for now it's focused on deploying HTTP apps and tools like apex are more for the traditional "FaaS" style plumbing. Apex isn't quite as user-friendly as it could be though I'd like to possibly "commercialize" that and improve the usability if there's enough demand for it
