What are the character limits for object names for

  • Actor
  • Task
  • Dataset

No limits imposed on SDK level. However, if you're using the SDK with the Apify Platform, then the following limits apply:

  • Actor: 3-30
  • Task: 3-30
  • Dataset: 1-63
