Some users like to have symbolic links for printers.conf and cupsd.conf in order to implement 'profiles' for CUPS.
When writing modifications to its configuration files, CUPS should avoid using rename() if the original names are symbolic links or hard links.

Users can create directories for their profiles and point cupsd at the current profile instead (or just symlink the /etc/cups directory).
