The web interface for the newsgroups (which I depend often on)
is way too slow if you try to use the searc hutton.

If two searches are conducted, it amounts to a DoS on the
whole newsgroup interface.

When I tried it this morning, it became completely
un-responsive and it is still not back to work now.

I hope it was not my action that broke it....

Possibly the search should be temporarily disabled until
a better solution is in place.

(Yes, I know that this is not really an item for the STR... ;-)
