extra mime.types and mime.convs for specific printer queues #8

It would be helpful, if one could assign special edited mime.types and mime.convs to a specific printer queue.

At the moment there is only one mime.types and only one mime.convs, which apply to all printer queues.

Well, for mime.convs you can use the cupsFilter attribute in the PPD file.

It might be possible to add a list a MIME types to exclude for specific queues. Would something like that support what you want to do?

I already tried this, it didn't solve my problem.

That's because you didn't enable the application/octet-stream MIME type in mime.types; the .types files specify what types are supported, and the .convs and .ppd files specify the filters.

Right, it works now.

When I print now a file with unkown format to a non-raw queue
the job gets immediatly canceled.
