Animation keeps playing after stopping 'Render Animation'

Stopping Render Animation stops the render but plays animation until end before I can close Render Result view. I'll update the issue with a video demonstrating the issue.

Unfortunately, CPU usage was very high during the render and frame rates are really low during the actual bug. You can see I stop the render at 0:26 but the render was playing (in timeline) until 0:33 .
