This is a basic and simple LTI Tool Consumer that uses the ims-lti gem. To get this running in your development environment, check out the repo then:

shotgun
You can use this with the example LTI Tool Provider to do some simple LTI testing.
Visit http://localhost:9393/tool_config to configure a Tool Provider and launch to it.
You can POST directly to the http://localhost:9393/tool_launch url with configuration params in the request body:

background=true tells the app the immediately POST an LTI request to launch_url
