How Agilefant is used in Trafficsense project?

Kun klikkaa vasemman laidan ”Backlogs” osiota ja sieltä ”TrafficSense app” tuotetta niin saa auki koko tuotteen backlogin. Tärkeimmät näkymät (tabit) ovat ”Story tree” ja ”Project planning”.

Story treessa voi lisätä tarinoita ja pilkkoa niitä pienemmiksi osatarinoiksi. Ylimmällä tasolla tarinat on jaettu kahteen lokeroon: Features ja Overhead. Nyt ensimmäisessä vaiheessa olisi tärkeintä luoda ensimmäisen sprintin tarinat jotka pääosin tulee overheadin alle (poimikaa ne kurssin software development guidesta).

Kun tarinat on lisätty ja pilkottu niin voi vaihtaa ”Project planning” näkymään ja drag&dropata tarinoita tuotteesta iteraatioihin (Sprint 0, 1, ...) .

Iteraatioita voi lisätä vasemmasta yläkulmasta ”Create new” -> ”Iteration”.

Tehtäviä (Task) voi luoda tarinoihin valitsemalla vasemmasta laidasta (TrafficSense app -> T-76.4115) hierarkiasta haluamansa sprintin ja klikkaamalla tarinalistasta (Stories) jonkun tarinan kohdalta vasemman laidan plussaa ja tämän jälkeen ”Create Task”. Tehtävän voi assignaa jollekkin ihmiselle (”Responsibles” kenttä).

Työtä voi logitaa omiin taskein menemällä ylälaidan ”Daily Work” näkymään ja avaamalla sieltä jonkun tarinan ja lisäämällä työtä (”Spent” kenttä) johonkin tehtävään.

The Agilefant project hierarchy is as follows:

• Product: TrafficSense app
• Project: T-76.4115
• Sprint 0: This is where we log the work we did at the start of the project
• Sprint 1: This is the first real sprint. It starts next Monday and ends on 9.12.
• Sprint 2: ...
• ...

By clicking "Backlogs" and then the "TrafficSense app" product, a user can see the entire backlog. The most important tabs are "Story tree" and "Product planning".

A user can add stories to the story tree and split them into smaller tasks. At the highest level stories are split into two categories: Features and Overhead. In the first phase most of the stories should be under overhead. The stories can be picked from the courses software development guide.

When the stories have been added, the user can switch to the "project planning" view and drag and drop stories from the product to the iterations (Sprite 0, 1, ...).

Iterations can be added from "Create new" -> "Iteration" in the left upper corner.

Tasks can be added to the stories from the hierarchy on the left side of the page ("TrafficSense app" -> "T-76.4115") by clicking the the plus sign next to a story and selecting "Create task". The task can be assigned to a person with the "Responsible" field.

The user can log their work by going the "Daily work" view, opening a story, and adding the amount of work done into the "Spent" field beside a task.
