Currently the database node within a datasource configuration can only have very basic configuration options. Several PDO drivers do allow (and might require) additional options.
Example would be the charset of a MySQLl PDO connection.
We have to enable additional options for our datasource configuration which can be dynamic in type.
Might be doable by use of the params node.

UAC:

  • Additional options MUST be configurable within the database node
