the goal of this app is to calculate the area of a location(s) with a mobile device. as you walk around, the app will draw your current location on a map and allow you to calculate the area of the shape you just created. the primary purpose of this app will calculate the area of my lawn
this app will be built as a windows app using the universal app platform (UAP) and will initally target windows 8.1, windows phone 8.1. After Build 2015, windows 10 and windows 10 mobile should have a single package that will work http://dev.windows.com/en-US/windows-10-developer-preview-tools
the app will be extened to use xamarin.forms that will allow an iOS and android app to be built with the same code base
