Repository files navigation

Documentation

The point of Uppity is to "go up" on the web. It relies primarily on the fact that URLs are arranged in a way similar to a file system, with other well defined pieces. A URL can look something like this:

http://www.example.com/path/to/file.txt?query=value#anchor

If you were on a page with that URL, Uppity would descend to these URLs, one by one, in this order:

Clicking the button on the toolbar will move from one page to the next in that list. The keyboard shortcut ALT-Up (Option-Up on the Mac) will also navigate this way.

The toolbar button is controlled like any other toolbar button. Right click on your toolbar, choose Customize, and then just drag-and-drop the Uppity button to where you like it.
