Debugging Message Update
This release supports multiple debugging message channels for power converter run-time data (output voltages, output currents and both board temperatures, shown in the data table of the debugging GUI as well as PD stack debugging messages, which are now routed to the terminal window.

Please note:
This release no longer supports the ASCALAB GUI due to limitations in supported message frames.

Control Loop Optimization
Due to minor changes in execution timing, the control loops have been updated with new compensator values for better stability in extreme conditions near 60W output power and a better balanced stability in light load.

A debugging interface has been added to the project which supports continuous data output to a graphical user interface on a PC using UART (RS232).

The GUI is attached to this release but is not part of the repository. Please download the file Microchip.dSMPS.Installer.3.2.2.1.msi and install the software.

This GUI has been built for multiple hardware demos. When you install and open it, select option USB PD 90W and follow the instructions on the screen.

None of the control functions are supported yet but will be added in future releases.

This is the first version with full support of USB PD 2.0 on both USB ports. Both power converters have essential protection features built in such as current limit at 3.2A, regulation error detection, input voltage lock out and over temperature protection. With this firmware the board is able to support continuous 45W output power per port when the heat sink is mounted. Without heat sink the maximum continuous output power is limited to 15W per port.
