The Argo Rollouts Kubectl plugin should be a part of the Krew-Index

Hi, @jessesuen , will this task be considered as part of v1.1 release? If so, I can take it. Thanks.

Happy to have this on Krew. If there's a concern around maintenance in both places, we have release automation tooling in place that would help you also publish this on Krew without much hassle. https://krew.sigs.k8s.io/docs/developer-guide/release/automating-updates/

This issue is stale because it has been open 60 days with no activity.

@zachaller So upon some investigation, we can submit this to the krew default index via someone with access to argoproj or argoproj-labs forking the krew-index k8s sig repository and creating yaml files for the kubectl plugins and then open a PR to the krew-index repository. After initial PR, updates can be automated via github actions with the krew-release-bot. The interesting part of the argo rollouts plugin is that it is not kebab cased, and the releases are bins instead of an archive .zip or .tar.gz. I am uncertain if this will be an issue.

Is there any progress on this?

@Antiarchitect I need to reach out to a maintainer on krew again. The PR has not been reviewed, and the bot marked it as stale.
