PSX DIY using Parallel port still have no proper support with Windows 7. The close solution so far is using https://github.com/elitak/PPJoy

NTPad is old, hopefully it get a new life soon.

I don't think there are much computers out there that run Windows 7 decently and have a parallel port... If you are an enthusiast it probably makes more sense now a days to build an arduino based adapter
