Cross Compiler Unavailable to Download #46
Comments
Hi Lawrence,
After logging into the Arista Software Download page, the cross-compiler
directory is under the EOS SDK directory. Please let us know if that
doesn't work.
Thanks,
Avinash

Once I log in with my account, the only directories visible on the software download page are vEOS-lab and cEOS-lab, neither of which contain an EOS SDK folder nor a cross-compiler folder. |
This is how it looks for me (attached: the EosSdk is all the way to the
bottom, and when you click it open the cross-compiler is way at the bottom
of again).
What do you see here: https://www.arista.com/en/support/software-download
Anyway, just in case, I put that on the ftp site:
ftp://ftp.arista.com/data/ar/crossgcc/arista-fc18-gcc4-9-2.deb
ftp://ftp.arista.com/data/ar/crossgcc/arista-fc18-gcc5-4-0.deb
ftp://ftp.arista.com/data/ar/crossgcc/arista-fc18-gcc4.9.2-1.0-0.i686.rpm
ftp://ftp.arista.com/data/ar/crossgcc/arista-fc18-gcc5.4.0-1.0-0.i686.rpm
but it will be cleaned up again eventually, so the software download page
is the better option.

cEOS and vEOS are the only folders that are public.
For more options you need to open a customer account on arista.com.
Why we don't make the EosSdk folder public (it is already on github after
all) is another question which I cannot answer right now.

Here is what I see on the software downloads page. Also your image did not
attach properly in your reply. Thanks for putting it back up on the FTP
server.

I have a customer account and was logged in when that screenshot was taken. |
What in the login name on that customer account?

The download links on the wiki are broken, and the cross compiler is not listed under the downloads section of the Arista website.
