Stationery doesn't work with Thunderbird 68.0 any more :-(

I know - I have been trying to get in touch with Arivald for many months now. If you are interested, you may look into this alternative:
RealRaven2000/SmartTemplates#8

I have been collaborating with Arivald to make SmartTemplate⁴ and Stationery compatible with each other, so I am sad to lose it. But I have to move forward so I decided to include "external file templates" as a new feature - it will very likely land in version 2.3 within the next 2 weeks. Feel free to try out the prereleased which I am uploading at the issue above.

thy for info @RealRaven2000 ... TB becomes ever more "i must be become Save" and ever more technically and higher (in the name of savety) complicate bullschit, also for the Plugin-writer ..
and Thunderbird becomes ever less Plugins, even because the Thunderbird-Programmer not astray, between usability and safety, it must be ever savety be and therewith the possibilities of the plugins are more and more restricted, so what is bullshit .. and no one want make still plugins, because Thunderbirds architecture becomes ever and ever an other shit.. (sorry for some words, but it makes me with my more as 20 years Internet-experience and more as ~19/20 years Thunderbird user very angry.. therewith makes a whole big community ever more broken.

so, thank you for info Raven, but i keep my Thunderbird 60.3.2 for a quite a while with the still pretty good working plugins ..

thanks for the feedback @blackcrack - if you are using Tb60, why not the latest version of that, 60.8? Good stuff that you are using Menu On Top (which is one of my Add-ons) - SmartTemplate⁴ is still backwards compatible with 60 (and will be at least for the next year), and may be a good addition to Quicktext.

If Thunderbird deprecates XPCOM access next year with v74 I may do the same as you and stay behind (on 68). I had an insane conversation with the Thunderbird chairman that made it pretty obvious that a load of the stuff we are doing is not going to be allowed / supported in 12 months time. It hits me hard because I live of it.

Hi @RealRaven2000
it's easy, because the most plugins not works in the more new versions and my most love plugins is custom address bar, this should be integrated in TB ...
Custom Adress Bar or how was name in the past in other Names was ever my Favourite and i bet was highest use by others who has know this nice Addon by side of stationery and maybe your Plugin, some plugins should also be included like "this thing with Calendar" damn, forgot the english name of it.. *g* who is taken included .. some things make the usability of Thunderbird in highest range and should included in TB but some things stay out of the Range to include, that's really pity .

I hope we become now a more better Mozilla CEO who think on the past and make a more smaller, spezific and slower development and more in bugfix and slower "modern integrated" and bring a more Usability for the plugins for longer time in Thunderbird, because the rocket-developement was fully for the trash if we think on the users where use Plugins.. -this to fast development was bullschit !!-
(in the name of security ! bahh, any should know what for plugin he use and the plugin-writer should also be responsible for the safety and any sould know what for plugins he use)
An Developing in the brashness / quick reference is bullschit, it depends on anyone who writes plugins !
and i hope, the Mozilla Developer read this postings ..

edit: p.s.: i love your Menu on top, take a look on your code ;) i have make a Readme.md :)

best regards
Blacky
