I think this won't change much and is quite short to translate (I think the governance section can be skipped without problem). Translations can happen collaboratively on transifex: https://www.transifex.com/arviz/arviz-project-website/dashboard/. We can add languages and make partial or complete translations at will. Transifex is free for non-comercial open source projects.
I translated the index page to catalan as a test: https://www.arviz.org/ca/translations/
