Patches are not restored correctly in Ardour session #107
Comments
Same issue here. |
This may be resolved now, see bug #126. Please try again after the next release. |
Same problem here with Dexed 0.9.4 and Ardour 5.12. After loading the project the original parameters are not restored. |
Maybe related to Ardour/ardour@3c11660d2a3 The issue would be that after loading a VST program/preset once, the state is not restored correctly. Work-around: Don't use presets, only change parameters of the default, initial preset. .. or use LV2 (not VST) |
I don't think that's the issue as I'm using only the LV2 version. The issue is the same: Dexed's state is not correctly restored in Ardour. |
I think the bug is in the LV2 version. (Ardour 5.12.0, Dexed 20190915) |
I have similar issue when i upgrade from 0.8 to 0.9. |
same happens in zrythm with the LV2 version (using distrho-port's version though) |
no problem for me with VST, only the LV2 version has this problem for my part. (dexed 0.9.4) (as explained there #210) |
I wanted to learn Dexed, and I made a simple track with Ardour 5.11 - unfortunately when I reloaded the session, my patches have changed significantly and the sounds are broken.
I'm running Linux Mint 18.2 with KDE5 and KXStudio repositories. I'm using Dexed build by KXStudio from 2017-10-11 as the package version suggests.
