Hi. I noticed over at astropy docs that https://asdf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/asdf/extending/legacy.html is gone. Where did the page go?

Thanks for opening the issue.

The legacy extension API described in that document is no longer in the latest development version of asdf. It was removed in: https://github.com/asdf-format/asdf/pull/1464/files#diff-6d9cccec6e7b0ea7e9f32a6dac152a07db34cefe549e7a56207eda90f7057fbb

https://asdf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/asdf/extending/extensions.html describes how to write an asdf extension using the 'new' API.
