Exporting Animation to Non-Existent Gif Gives Error #363

  1. Create a simple two frame animation
  2. File > Save Copy As...
  3. Enter "test" and select gif output.
  4. Observe "Error saving file: Cannot open test.gif"

The expected output is a created gif. As a workaround, I manually created the gif file and then used that to save it and it worked. I assume the gif file is just not being created properly.

I'm using the latest dev branch from github and I'm on Ubuntu 13.04.
