- Clone the repository:

cd real-time-feedback-system- Install dependencies for both client and server:
# Navigate to the client directory and install dependencies
cd client
npm install

# Navigate to the server directory and install dependencies
cd ../server
npm install

yarn install- Create a .env file in the server directory and add your environment variables:
PORT=8080
REDIS_CONNECTION_STRING=your_redis_connection_string
- Create a .env.local file in the client directory and add your environment variables:
NEXT_PUBLIC_SOCKET_URL=http://localhost:8080
NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=http://localhost:8080- Start the server:
cd server
npm start
# or
yarn start- Start the client:
cd ../client
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev- Open your browser and navigate to
http://localhost:3000.
