ONTbarcoder2.3 includes the ability to modify the primer search. Updates to Linux libraries that improve the real-time-barcoding graph and updates to dependencies.

This version is updated to for R10.4.1 with the key feature being real-time barcoding. Allows for demultiplexing using shorter tags and with fewer tag errors due to higher accuracy of R10.4.1.

Other minor fixes are:

Handling UTF-8+BOM in input
Replacement of spaces in sample ids with _ to allow for mafft to proceed smoothly
Retaining original read IDs

Currently, windows version has been extensively tested using multiple real-time barcoding experiments. Linux version has been tested without gpu-basecalling via ONTbarcoder. Mac doesn't support GPU based basecalling implemented in Guppy, but can be used for real-time barcoding using base-called reads.

ONTbarcoder v0.1.9

This version comes with multiple MacOS releases. We have built the packages in OSX 11.4 and OSX10.13. The version in OSX10.13 is found to be compatible with 10.12.

The dmg files can be used. They are all-in-one .app files. In case there are issues, largely owing to system permissions, please use the standalone versions of the software. They contain numerous files and the software should run by opening ONTbarcoder_multiprocessing executable.
