Describe the bug
On Linux systems, the soversion of the library file of v5.2.5 is still 5.2.4, i.e. /usr/lib/libassimp.so.5.2.4. Shouldn't this reflect the actual version and read libassimp.so.5.2.5?

To Reproduce

  1. Build the library
  2. Check the file name of the libassimp.so.* files

Expected behavior
The soversion reflects the acutal version.

Platform (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Gentoo Linux
  • Version 2.8

This seems to be related to updating the version in the CMakeLists.txt file, like in #4656.
