Yeah, I know what you're thinking: How cool can a Javascript library actually be?
Well, if you've seen an interactive chart at NPR, the New York Times or the Washington Post recently, there's a pretty good chance it was made using D3. It's all the rage these days!
You can't learn D3 in 45 minutes, but you can build a simple chart — and get a feel for the library's power and flexibility. You'll come away from this workshop with insight into how D3 works and plenty of resources to keep you going.
