Translated versions of "Invent Your Own Computer Games with Python, 3rd Edition" are free to download under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license. However, hard copies of the translated books are sold. All proceeds from these sales are donated to the Python Software Foundation. The PSF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that manages the intellectual property rights behind the Python programming language. Al Sweigart, the original author, does not keep any this money for himself. Your translation efforts help bring programming knowledge to the global community.
