Akin to the work done in #3199, the same should be done with the UI relative to list-buffers.

As mentioned in a blog post, a configurable browser that doesn't automatically update the buffer list is unacceptable.

A deeper topic related to this issue is the fact that the facilities to set the HTML of internal and panel buffers aren't the same. We should rethink the architecture as to avoid this duplication.
